The 2004–05 Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team represented the University of Kansas Jayhawks for the NCAA Division I men's intercollegiate basketball season of 2004–2005. The team was led by Bill Self in his second season as head coach. The team played its home games in Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kansas.
